about

This cd was recorded and filmed live at Bennett's Lane, Melbourne on the 12th July and 2nd of August 2010. It was funded by the proceeds of the Bell Australian Jazz Award for Best Classic Jazz CD in 2010.

The recording was engineered and mixed by Jem Savage and mastered by Philip Rex . The video footage was shot by Hayley Miro and Andrew MC Caskill and edited by Hayley.

This is a message left with Jeremy at the Bennett's Lane bar by three punters as they left early on our first night of recording...

"not to sugar coat it,but other than a few ten to twenty fleeting moments of glory,we didn't pay to hear three drunk blokes wearing flannel, who turned up late,to miss every third note" well the live evidence is either on this cd or on our videos on the internet…see details at end of sleeve.
